A clip from Jaden Smith's 2018 interview on "Big Boy's Neighborhood" went viral on Twitter as fans mocked the actor. In the clip, Smith spoke about being heavily influenced by adults when he was growing up, and clowned people his own age as having immature interests. "Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world right now?" he rhetorically asked Big Boy. "Can we talk about what's going on with the environment?" Twitter users had a field day ripping on Smith for the remarks, as many shared memes roasting the "Skate Kitchen" actor. "Jaden Smith after telling every kid in recess that they only have 20 years to live because of global warming," one person tweeted, along with a celebratory GIF.

Smith caught wind of the viral clip and decided to poke fun at himself on Twitter. "Me: Hey wanna talk about the economic and political state of world together," he wrote for a farcical scenario. "Girl: Nah ... Me: Ok cool."  Along with the tweet, Smith included a photo of himself staring off-camera while wearing an assortment of necklaces, seemingly as a meme response.

The "Ninety" singer's tweet, in turn, sparked an avalanche of replies. "Funny ain't yo strong suit huh," one Twitter user snarkily replied. Others were more open to engaging Smith in political discourse, including a fan who replied, "so true, i wish more people were like us (my dms are open)."
