Reason for Sofia’s absence revealed

On January 2, 2023, the first season of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars premiered with only three of the four iconic judges.

Sofia is missing the All-Stars action because she had “committed to an acting job,” according to Newsweek.

At this time, details on her upcoming project are unclear, but according to IMDb, she will star in the upcoming mini-series Griselda as Griselda Blanco.

Terry Crews is more than just a host

Early in Crews‘ life, he joined the NFL and played games for the Rams, Chargers, Redskins, and Eagles.

However, his career playing sports was not nearly as successful as his later career as a Hollywood actor.

How AGT: All-Stars works

According to NBC, ten acts are competing in each episode of the show – but only one will move on each week thanks to the AGT Superfan vote, which will be revealed during the episode.

There are also five Golden Buzzers available throughout the season, which automatically advance the selected act to the final.

In the end, 11 acts will compete in the two-hour finale.

Golden Buzzer acts

All of the Golden Buzzers for this season have been pressed, meaning five lucky acts were sent directly to the finals.

On week one, Howie Mandel pressed the first Golden Buzzer for Ukrainian dance group Light Balance Kids.

The next week, host Terry Crews hit the button for Detroit Youth Choir – four years after he pressed it for them during America’s Got Talent Season 14.

Simon Cowell gave his Golden Buzzer to comedian Mike E. Winfield, while Heidi Klum awarded 13-year-old magician Aidan McCann.

Vocalist Tom Ball got the final honor with the Group Golden Buzzer after Simon said his performance was the “best performance he’d seen all series.”

Simon says past winner is ‘in another league’

AGT: All-Stars judges were emotional after Season 14 winner Kodi Lee performed last week.

Howie Mandel said: “There’s no other word to describe what you do than amazing.”

Heidi Klum said that her heart “doubles in size” when she hears the 26-year-old sing.

After Lee left the stage, Simon Cowell told the other judges that he’s “in a different league from everyone else.”

“I wish I could’ve given him a Golden Buzzer.”
